Who we are

The foundation was created with one simple belief in mind: When communities are given a voice they gain the freedom and power to shape their future.

Founded in 2018, the Annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival has since evolved into the Voices of Freedom Collective, a vibrant and dynamic non-profit organization.

Our mission is to educate, empower and uplift communities through programs that create real opportunities. That includes initiatives focused on financial literacy, health awareness, education, cultural celebration, scholarship opportunities, civic engagement and environmental stewardship.

We believe that when people have access to knowledge, resources and opportunity, entire communities thrive.

Dianna Guilbeaux Ross, a Gulf Coast native and dedicated community leader and activist, serves as the Founder and Executive Director.
